The Jesus Walk.
The Jesus Walk, also known as Jesus Style, is the trick I created where I take my feet out of the board, run across the water and get back on. It's still one of the tricks people ask me about most.
Watch the tutorialI'm a professional kitesurfer and filmmaker based on Union Island in the Grenadines. I created the Jesus Walk trick, filmed Ride Along, and founded the JT Pro Center. This is where I share the riding, travels and projects along the way.
I started taking photos and making videos while travelling for kitesurfing. These days that can mean a film for a sponsor, a tutorial, or a slightly ridiculous idea with a kite and a camera. I share the results on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
The videos also follow life here: running the kite school, exploring the Grenadines and rebuilding after Hurricane Beryl. You can find the older trips and stories in the archive.
I spent my youth under the coconut trees, bouncing between the French Riviera and the Caribbean, where my father works as a painter. I was always in the water: surfing, diving, or trying another water sport.
My uncle introduced me to a small foil kite in 1999. After school, I headed straight to the beach to fly it. I couldn't afford the equipment to kite on the water, so I built an inflatable kite with advice from my uncle and my grandmother's sewing machine. It took over three months, but it flew.
Competitions and teaching took me around the world. Along the way I got into photography, filming and editing, made the Ride Along television series, and opened the JT Pro Center on Union Island. You can read my original biography and the old travel posts in the archive.

I've been sharing kitesurf videos online since the early 2000s. That grew into Ride Along on television, Island Life on YouTube, and shorter clips with costumes, stunts and action cameras. There is always another idea to try.

Ride Along TVUnion Island became my favourite place to kite, so I opened the JT Pro Center here. We welcome beginners learning their first water starts, riders working on new tricks and people coming to spend time in the Grenadines.
The team can help with lessons, coaching, equipment, accommodation and boat trips to nearby kite spots.

Hurricane Beryl devastated Union Island in 2024, including our home and the kite center. Through the JT Pro Foundation, I helped get supplies to families and support the work of rebuilding the island.
I work on films, photos and social videos for sponsors and other partners. I can ride, film, direct and edit, with Union Island as my base. Past work includes projects with Duotone and Insta360.
My work with Duotone has included team riding and equipment for the JT Pro Center.
